No reason to complain, the venue met required needs. This hotel was perfect place for exploring Kinnitty, really enjoyed it and venue's attentive staff on both our arrival and check-out. The hotel was in a stunning and incredible location short walk to the restaurant and the center of all that bumps in the night.

    helpful staff

It was just a reliable pick for a getaway in Kinnitty with very good value for money. The staff helped us arrange a taxi right away after we had trouble getting one. Make sure to have all travel arrangements sorted in advance to avoid delays.

The Castle itself and the furnishings were beautiful. The paintings and game hanging was great. The bedroom was comfortable, and the book room pub was very relaxing upon arrival.

Reasonably large room with an even larger attached bathroom and roll top bath and WiFi for US$ 230. Exceptionally good breakfast, a wide array of food and beverages. Beautiful and marvellous location with parking nearby. Great food and good service...

    spacious room
    delicious breakfast
    live music
    shower temperature
    dust bunnies

The staff was attentive, always ready to help with a smile. My room was spacious and clean, with a charming mix of antique furnishings that added to the castle's atmosphere. The grounds were beautiful, perfect for a relaxing stroll. Dining was a highlight. The breakfast included plenty of choices and the quality was great. I had a frustrating experience with the water temperature during my shower, it was either scalding hot or freezing cold. I also noticed some dust bunnies in the corners, which could be improved. Despite these issues, the overall experience was still wonderful. The Dungeon Bar had live music that really enhanced the ambiance, and I loved exploring the hidden passageways around the castle. I would definitely return for the unique experience.

    great experience but some disappointments

The breakfast was great with a great variety of options, and I appreciated the attention to detail in presentation. The archery activity was great! I had a fantastic whiskey flight experience with Simon, who was very knowledgeable.

    beautiful grounds
    noisy atmosphere

    A charming castle with character

Exploring the fine grounds was a highlight, where serene walks brought a sense of peace and enchantment. The staff were genuinely friendly.

The noise from neighboring rooms disrupted our sleep on more than one night. A bit of upkeep could elevate the experience for all guests.

The staff were more than helpfull, we had a problem about meds; and they aranged a chemist in Birr to stay open till 6/30p.M. The clay pigon shooting was very good, and the mountains near the castle, the suites were the bizz.

The only fault I have as a smoker was the area outside the main door, a smoking area with a bit of heat would be great.

The location was good as it was quiet and relaxing.

To be expected it is a drafty old castle.
